This high quality Hudson Spike Light Pole Mount is primarly designed for down lighting paths and low planting. However, its adjustable spot light can also be directed upwards, ideal for uplighting trees and shrubs in locations where the light fitting needs to be positioned above lower level planting. It's precision engineered from anodised aluminium in a choice of four powder coat colours: Black, Nato Green, Corten Brown or Bronze (see thumbnail swatch image). It's remarkably small – the diameter of the spot light is only a little larger than a £1 coin (see thumbnail photo). The spot light is fitted with a 1.6 watt, 2.6 watt or 3.6 watt LED board that can be replaced at the end of its long life. You also have four light colour options and two beam angles to choose from – the widest 30º beam angle is best for washing pathways with light. The extra long spike inserts directly into garden soil. This is a low-voltage light fitting and requires a separate 350mA LED driver and series wiring. Made in England in Hudson Lighting's Surrey workshop.
