All Hudson lights (with the exception of the Spike Light Midi and Maxi) are fitted with either a 1.6 watt, 2.6 watt or 3.6 watt LED pin-mounted board already installed. These LED boards can be replaced at the end of their long life. Simply lift out the existing board (you might find a fine blade helps) and gently push in the replacement. If you're unsure of the wattage of the LED board you wish to replace, the 1.6 watt has a small yellow circle within a square, the 2.6 watt is a larger yellow circle within a square, while the 3.6 watt is a yellow square (see photograph). Hudson's Spike Spot Lights and Water Feature Lights are compatible with all three LED boards, so you can replace, for example, a 1.6 watt or 2.6 watt LED board with a 3.6 watt LED board, or vice-versa – but check your LED driver has sufficient capacity if you're moving up to a higher wattage.
