Modux 4 Recessed Darklighter is a small high quality low voltage dimmable outdoor spot light by New Zealand's LuxR for recessing into walls or paved floors. It's designed for cross lighting paths and steps, or uplighting walls and columns with virtually zero glare – the LED light source is sunk low down in the fitting so it's not visible to the eye. It comes with an impressive IP68 rating. Available in marine grade 316 stainless steel, solid natural copper, or aluminium in a choice of Black or Bronze (dark brown) UV-stable polyester Eco-matt powder coat. The light output of 360 lumens is focused into a narrow 26º beam and comes in a choice of four light colours. Its integral Cree 4 watt LED can be replaced in situ at the end of its long life. Requires a separate 700mA LED driver. Also available as Modux Micro Darklighter and Modux 2 Recessed Darklighter.
